Got a lot of request for the Dude and Walter. I even threw Donny in there for good measure.

Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank

Possibly the BEST MOVIE EXPERIENCE I’VE HAD EVER.

Not only did was the movie AMAZING and uniquely funny (Pinoy lang talaga makakaenjoy to the fullest— daming mga references, pinoy humor talaga) but it was very unforgettable being able to see the cast and screenplay writer

(nandun si Chris Martinez, Mercedes Cabral, Cai Cortez[love how she answered the question about her role— the whole the three of them are representations of one director thing, JM de Guzman[ANG KYOOTEE NIYA SWEAR KILIG], Kean Cipriano[HEHE HE TAPPED MY SHOULDER, KYEWT DIN NIYA] and of course EUGENE DOMINGO [DIFJOSDIFJOSIDJF *FOAMINTHEMOUTH*]— punyems ang witty talaga niya sobrang uhfsudfjisudhf kakaiba talaga siya idsfjsidufhiusdhf STARSTRUCK TO THE MAX SWEAAR (non-verbatim)”Nang ilublob ako sa septic tank, alam kong MANANALO AKO.” nakakatuwa talaga si Eugene sumagot ng mga tanong!)

there and answered questions.

I’ll post a better reaction to the movie itself another time— but for now, I have to say NOTHING QUITE LIKE IT.

Thanks Jethro and company! Feel ko naenjoy ko rin yung movie kasi kayo mga naging kasama ko hihi. <3 Great company. Great movie experience. Hands doown.

So these are cult films. Cult films… are…. films… that… aksdjhfadf. They’re films that, apparently, a lot of people like. But apparently… not… people’s money. I don’t know what cult films are, I just know that they have fans that would defend them to the death. Consulted several lists for this for some movies, then just guessed the rest. If you disagree with any of the movies on this list, don’t come at me with pitchforks. I’m an ignorant fool ok. Ok. (Genre requested/suggested by eleventhbastard.) To watch online, copy-paste the url on address bar, then change megaupload to megavideo. As always, disclaimer: not all of the movie files are mine, but all of the links are.

Boogie Nights [1997]

Just finished this, and my goodness, what a brilliant film. I was not there when the 70s and 80s went down but I’m pretty sure this film captured that. It’s all amazing to look at. From the music, the clothes and the design. Plus, the writing, the cast, and the cinematography are all spectacular. I especially enjoyed those little films within this film. It’s a lot of fun but there’s some really heavy stuff in there, too. I thought it was flawless for the two and a half hours it ran.

It’s a lot like Magnolia minus the frogs plus a whole lot of sex. (Lol, no.)

Paul Thomas Anderson is officially one of my favorite filmmakers now. Up there with Tarantino and Kaufman.
